Did your DH/DP cut the cord?

May I ask why? Just curious to know.

DH has no desire to cut the cord when we have our DC1 in a few weeks time. I don't care either way. But it does seem to be a popular thing to do. Is it just to give the DP something to do?

Asked him, and yes he did with our 2nd last week. It was only 10 days ago, lol. I just remembered the midwife asked him whilst I was on the G&A and wasn't sure if he actually did or not .

I cut the cord for DS - it was quite a speedy process as DS needed to go to SCBU, so he was plonked on me, I cut the cord, and he was whisked off. DH didn't want to.
