Just read a very interesting aticle in Real magazine about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after a traumatic birth and found a link for Birth Trauma Association .

Thought it might be a useful place for some of us.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Thanks for that Aragon - I'm going to check that out properly when kids are napping.

Bumping this again so anyone else who missed it earlier gets to see it. I didn't have a traumatic birth fortunately but have spoken to many women who did - this site really looks as though it is going to offer good support.

Some hospitals have their own traumatic birth "unit" (sometimes just made up of one person). I had counselling from the unit at the hospital where db was born and it made all the difference to me. I would urge anyone who has had a traumatic birth or feels like there are some unresolved issues from the birth to contact them. These counsellors are worth their weight in gold.
