Ready for labour?

Hi, i'm 38wks wit my 2nd and i went to c midwife today and she z head fully down!! Does this mean labour not far as its my second? Was induced wit my 1st so not 100% sure as to wot to expect!! Any advice/stories very welcome...:-)

you are getting there but still may be some time off

DD never engaged fully even on the day she was born

things that may indicate labour is a bloody show, period like pains, contractions, waters going etc
