i have been having quite frequent braxton hicks the last week or so, they mostly feel like period pains.

tonight i have had pretty persistent back ache for a few hours, its low down and its like a dull heavy feeling a bit like period pains and i am waddling even more than i thought was possible aroud the house.

it lasts for a while and then wears off for about 10 mins and comes back. its not killing me or anythin but i know its there. and i get period pains every now and then aswel.

do you think i could be in early labour or something? im 38 weeks at the end of this week.

am going to go and lie in the bath for a while and see if that does anything.

sorry if i sound silly but its my first baby x

When i had ds2 my labour started exactly how you've described, had the back ache, period pains and frequent braxton hicks throughout day, getting more frequent and painful as night wore on, so could be!? Good luck!

Both mine were back cc only like you describe to me. My cc are not really painful till they are 3mins apart and lasting 2 mins so you could well be in labor so try to get some rest or sleep if possible and good luck hope this is it for you and that it is not to painful.
