Prolapse of uterus

After a difficult birth ending with forceps and tearing, I have a horrible feeling I have a uterine prolapse- sorry to be graphic but it feels like something could fall out down there. It's made worse because the lift in my block does not go right down to street level, and if I want to go out with ds - most days I do - I have to carry pushchair with 7kg of baby down 10 stairs.
Does anyone have any experience of this? Why don't we hear about these things before birth? (mind you, probably best). Feeling tearful and scared about it. Thanks for any advice.

I had a forceps delivery and I agree that it can be quite a grim experience. I didn't have a prolapse but TBH it took me about a year to really feel myself.

You need to go back to your GP and get checked out. It may be a case of needing extra kegal exercises or you may need a referral to a specialist.

You do not need to suffer and your problem can be rectified.

Good luck.
