That video also made me cry (am 28 weeks and planning a home birth myself in North London).

I totally agree that the woman-centred midwifery model the Albany uses is the one I support. My own experience of the home birth team at my hospital (the Whittington) has been excellent. I can't tell you how much more relaxed I am having a named midwife, who visits me at home for antenatal care, and who is getting to know me as a person in order to support me through pregnancy and labour.
