Thrush in labour

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and suffering with thrush, I used the pesery yesterday and the cream today but just wondering if I should keep using the cream every day until I go into labour?

Its so horrible feeling like this, I couldn't be in labour like this! I wouldn't want all the feeding problems too if the baby caught it.

Do you think I could keep using the cream to prevent it?

Poor you, I had hideous thrush in pg too. It went with pessary & I then used the cream everyday on advice of GP, and it didn't come back. GP prescribed me a massive tube of the stuff which was great. Hope you get it sorted.

Im going to the Docters about this tomorrow. Am worried about it re-occuring in time for Labour.

Will ask Doc lots of questions tomorrow and post back....

I am using (over using...) the cream every day now (39+3), as have had Thrush on and off for months; but with DS1 didn't realy treat it, and then had to go through whole post baby rigmarole of cross contamination - cream for downstairs, cream for nipples and medicine for a 1 week old baby.
I'd keep going with the cream.

My Doctor has given me a SWAB and pack to do the next time I get an episode, so probably next week !
So they can tell exactly what it is and treat it properly.

My Docter said, Thrush will not hurt the baby, if I have it when I go into Labour....

hope this helps.
