Hi

Probably not much help but my friend had a really hot curry (that her SIL had made) and with both her children she went in to labour just hours after eating it!

Dont no if its a coincedence, she swears blind thats what started her off.
Well ive booked myself in for a curry round her house in Jan (thats when im due)

Good Luck

You could follow my mw advice she had just done the sweep and up till now had been all professional and she turned to me and said 'what you need now to start you off is a really good seeing to and I don't mean none of that namby pamby stuff you need a good ole fashion bonking thal get you going'

It certainly took my mind off the sweep I think my jaw must off hit the floor.

surely, slushy, that raises more questions than it answers? I would worry that we had been doing it the namby pamby way for 20 yrs without realising...

Oh and sorry, mad missy, a bit of clary sage essential oil in a bath may help. It seemed to help for one of mine, but the other two had to be evicted post-dates. I tried everything with them - acupuncture, reflexology, curry, sex, you name it.

I was 8 days OD and had a sweep, followed by a rigerous aqua aerobic session in my pool, long walk then sex over a blow up ball. Sort of doggy style and bouncy.

DP 'I don't really feel in the mood'
ME 'you will bend me over this ball and come on my cervix or I will make you hold the placenta!!!!'

I was very determined to have the baby and at 1.30am the following morning my labour started.

HAHA loving the good seeing to ones!

I would get my birth ball out but its been redundant as a oversized football in garden since dd2 arrived 2 yrs ago!
