37 weeks pregnant and its not much fun... anyone else in the same boat?! I'm hoping I dont go overdue!
sleeping is rubbish woke up several times in the night and then finally got up at 5.30am as couldnt get back to sleep.... movement rubbish, hands all swollen and a toddler to entertain all day so no rest there either....
wishing I felt like an agile ballerina rather than a fat slug!! lol! sigh.......
how is everyone else doing?

Same!
I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and booked to have sweep and hopefully induction booked if i'm favourable. Suffering with Spd again which is no fun.

Feel like baby has had a spurt as suddenly feel huge. Dd2 was induced early and was 8lb 3oz so i'm thinking baby is good weight... Ouch!

At least we know end is near...
I'm so sure things are starting to happen now as the braxton hicks i'm getting are increasing daily and getting to point I hate to breathe through them.

Whats your edd?

stellamel · 06/12/2009 08:11

37 weeks too and soooooo fed up. Had a massive strop on Friday because I was so sick and tired of being unable to breathe or eat or get comfortable. Just want him to make his appeareance NOW!

Sleeping has become beyond uncomfortable and keeping up with my 3.5yo is becoming impossible. Am exhausted.

Keep willing him to come out now, but I can tell that he isn't engaged yet as I can barely breathe due to his bum being wedged up under my diapragm.

COME ON BABIES WE WANT TO SEE YOU ALL!!

madmissy · 06/12/2009 09:12

I'm lucky there as i have been engaged for a few weeks so bump is super low now but at least i can breathe!

maybebaby23 · 06/12/2009 09:27

im almost 37 weeks and know how you feel!! Is anyone else getting period-type aches in lower tummy/back?? I am and they are coming and going, very uncomfortable. Do they sound like braxton hicks? The mild aching sometimes lasts quite a while..this is my 2nd but i had a section at 39 weeks with first so no idea what these aches are or if they are normal!

My edd is 31st dec! Booked in for section that day too!

madmissy · 06/12/2009 09:37

yeah i'm getting lots of them too, they accompany my braxton hicks which are getting very uncomfy as belly goes rock hard

maybebaby23 · 06/12/2009 09:48

Oh thank you madmissy, that really reassures me. Ive just started a thread in pregnancy about it as im starting to panic Not long now hey, hurry up babies!

GoldenSnitch · 06/12/2009 09:58

37 weeks today (or last Friday depending on who's dates you believe) and very fed up!

Was sat on the sofa last night and everytime she moved I got stabbing pains in my bits which I'm hoping is a good sign that she's dropped. Bump is definitely lower and heartburn has stopped so fingers crossed it won't be long. Ended up induced at 40+4 last time so no idea what going into labour feels like. Got my consultant meeting for my second section on Monday - cannot wait!

Really must pack my hospital bag though....

madmissy · 06/12/2009 10:01

ahhh, thanks guys for replying.... at least I know that how I'm feeling is normal, I didnt feel as bad last time as my 1st came early! the days seem to go by so slowly, feel as if I'm struggling through them! how on earth am I going to find enough energy for the trials of birth I just dont know!! feel as if I've got a cold coming as well. not good!
