Anyone had obstetric cholestasis?

I had OC during my pregnancy (dd was born end of Sept by elective CS). I had some blood taken six weeks after her birth and the results are still not back to normal. I need to have a liver scan tomorrow and they have also taken yet more blood to test for this and that.

Just wondered whether any of you have had a similar experience - and if so, how long did it take for your blood results to come back normal?

I'm a bit perplexed that I haven't gone back to normal levels of liver enzymes (or whatever they are!)

I had oc with my first pregancy and my liver functions went back to almost normal within weeks. Am now 31 weeks pregnant and my oc is worse this time. But my consultant told me on monday not to go back on the combined pill afterwards the birth as this can cause things to stay bad.
