I am 33 wks pg today with DC3 and have just had what seemed like it might be a show - big blob (about a tablespoon?) of thick mucus but not bloody at all. No other signs of labour but v worried as baby is very small so going into labour this early would not be great. Anyone else had this and then not had baby until weeks later - please tell me yes and that I shouldn't be packing my hospital bag and cancelling DH's trip to US tomorrow hopeful

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It sounds like a show, they do say it can be about 2 weeks before you go into labour, but if you are concerned I would call MW or delivery suite.

thanks, you are right nigglewiggle, I should call, I am just hanging on to see if any other signs...a trip to the hospital right now to get checked would be a real pain, on my own with DC's in bed and I am sure I would be sent home again to wait and see what happens anyway.

Lulumama, are you out there, any words of wisdom?
