hiya
i gave birth over 8 weeks ago, i suffered from spd. my labour was induced with the gel, but i refused the rest, i just had a puff of g&a but it didnt kick in. the midwife was aware i suffered from spd, so no stir-ups etc. but i did end up giving birth on my back, strapped to the damn ctg monitor as it was all quick.

i now have a painful backache, lower left..it hurts if you touch it as well. if this spd linked? or something else? what can i do about it?

I had this after my first was born and went to my chiropracter who put me right pretty quickly. I can't recommend this highly enough. I had SPD and delivered on my back also, but I don't know if the back pain was linked to the SPD as the pain I had at the front of my pelvis was thankfully a lot better pretty much within days of having her. Shame about everything else hurting eh!!
Hope you feel better soon.
