I am not pg or anything, but often read of people having a sweep.

What is a sweep i have never heard of this before i joined MN

I have 3 kids, so probably should know.

It's a rummage around the cervix when a woman goes overdue. It's done by a midwife.

There will be a more professional way of explaining this, but rummage is as good an explanation as you'll get from me
