9 months ago I had a terrible delivery-bad tear and some long-term damage. Would like another non NHS opinion on whether getting pregnant again is a good idea. I'm looking for a consultant at Portland, John & Lizzie or St. Marys?

I recently saw Gubby Ayida at John and Lizzie's for a general gynae appointment. She was lovely and seemed very knowledgeable when I asked her various questions about pregnancy and birth. Obviously I can't recommend her in terms of her expertise on tearing etc, but she seems to be pretty experienced and had a lovely bedside manner.

A friend saw a consultant at the portland called Chris Barnick for the same problem and raved about him.
