Havent had my labour there yet.....but been on Antenatal wards a few times these last few weeks...!!!!!

The staff were very nice, was monitored lots & was also seen through the night too.

Can get quite noisy.....I would definitely advise earplugs and an eye mask !!!
Also......take some foods with you.....lots of mums-2-be loaded up with sweets/chocs/drinks/ pre-packed sandwiches etc etc.
although they have just got a brand new drinks/coffee machine.....so shouldnt go short on hot drinks.

My only gripe was it wasnt very clean on the floor !!!!
You will need slippers !!!
They have a lady come in with a big material brush regularly (2-3 times a day).....but I think she has a very relaxed outlook on cleanliness !!!!
she often missed corners, under parts of beds etc etc...!!!
& I dont ever recall seeing a mop touch the floor....
so advisable to have footwear....not just socks !!!
