A question for any midwife out there please

is it normal to still be having a show 6 days after having a sweep? its mucus blood streaked and sort of a snotty colour, although its not running constantly its there every time i wipe myself when going to the loo, which by the way i seem to be needing a wee every 2 minutes since the sweep. also losing quite a lot of this mucus in the bath or shower. Is this normal?

Am not midwife. Had similar symptoms to this in my second pg and turned out I had the beginnings of an infection. Think you should get checked out just in case. FWIW my show with my first pg came out bit by but over a couple of days. Would still get checked out though. Take your temperature too.

rang the midwife she said its perfectly normal! to ring when contractions start! so still waiting.
