I would call your midwife if I were you. I had terrible backache and flu before I went into labour - and it stayed as backache - had no 'contractions' in the traditional sense. Horrible.
Good luck. It is early if it is 'time' but babies this young are usually expected to do very well. With my ds I had a biggish bleed at 32 weeks and had steroids (you can have another dose). He stayed put but the drs were very positive about his chances of being absolutely fine. And you might find it is another false alarm. But do get checked out asap.

erinsmom, ring your midwife and tell her your symptoms. I'm 32 weeks and none of this is happening to me, I think you need professional advice

Hugs to you, hope everything is ok.

Hi Erinsmum, sounds like what happened to me with DD2. I left it a bit late to go to hospital so when they tried to stop the contractions they couldn't and she was born at 31 wks. Get down there quick is my advice. Really good luck.
