quick message as on crappy hospital internet. baby Sarah was born today at 11.36am, only tens and entonox after very traumatic emergency section with dd2. midwives were incredible and baby is perfection. feeding within 10mins of birth. am such a proud mummy. my blood pressure playing up, hopefully home tommorrow. excuse typos!

Oh HBOB - Congratulations! I know what this means to you. In amongst the 'high' of birth I hope it can help lay some of the demons to rest over DD's birth. (I don't mean to sound trite but I know DS2's birth helped in a way after DS1's.)

Hope your blood pressure eases and you can get home with your beautiful baby soon.

thank you! home after lunch, all well here. VBAC was awesome, can't fault midwives who supported me throughout. Has restored my faith in the system.

Well done HBOB. So pleased for you that it went well. (Def. agree that VBACs are great and you'll need the quick recovery if you've got to lift DD2). Hope DD1 and DD2 enjoy their little sister

congrats to you all, great to hear some good news(and reminds me of having dc2 although it did end in another em sec for me but was so different to dc1 birth)
