I adore Dooce, and I also had a little cry at that. In my opinion its the best natural birth story I've ever read - because she doesn't gloss over the awkward bits later to make it sound better. She's just honest. I also loved reading about the birh of her friends baby, that inspired her to try and have a natural birth herself.

Also, she is American, and anyone who challenges the frankly mad system in the U.S and gives birth their way is a hero in my book!
