Bleeding suddenly got worse 12 days post c-section

Think i've been over-doing it especially with 19 month old and have this evening suddenly started bleeding quite heavily.

Loss was pretty minimal until this evening and its now pretty gushing - sorry for tmi.

Anyone else had this? Am taking it easy now and going to go very carefully tomorrow but any reassurance that my uterus isn't about to fall out!

You have been doing too much.

Rest.

I'm 3wks post c section and mine changes from heavy-ish to light to nothing depending on how much i've done through the day. I think it's ok unless you lose any large clots. I bled for 6 weeks after my last section.

I would go and get checked out, just to be safe

my bleeding was non existent by about 6 days post section but then got much heavier a couple of times - stopped around 4-5 weeks.

I think the bleeding varies a lot - whether or not you are overdoing it, although obviously best to try and take it easy if you can. With each of my 3 sections I bled on and off for about 6 weeks. After about 4 days it became v light, then stopped altogether after a week, then started again, then stopped for a few days etc etc, sometimes v light, sometimes heavier. By 6 weeks it had completely stopped.
