third degree tear and perineal bleeding

I am 7 weeks post partum and sustained a third degree tear. I had stopped bleeding but in the last 24 hours have been experiencing some 'fresh' bleeding from the perineal area (definately not coming from the vagina itself). It also feels tender down there, around the perineam.

Has anyone else experienced this? Should I contact my GP?

I am so fed up with this not healing and just want to get on with normal life e.g. go swimming and have sex

Is it from your bum or from the wound? I had bleeding from the bum for ages. I took vitamin e in the end that cleared it up very quickly - try that plus maybe some vit e oil on the area. I sy,mpathise - it made me absolutely miserable
