I have a tens from lloyds chemist, however when i've read the instructions it says its not for use during labour or pregnancy? Just wondering why not? Any ideas?

i think it sounds like you have got the one without the boost contraction button so no use in labour. designed for back pain etc.
shouldn't use any TENS in pregnancy before 37 weeks.

TENS machines for use in labour have 4 pads and a boost button, whereas the cheaper ones have only 2 pads and no boost.
