Hi,

Has anyone anything to say about Worthing maternity unit, good or bad?

I'm based in Brighton, and am nearly 10 weeks pregnant with my first.
Early days I know.

My midwife told me I could choose either Worthing or RSCH hospitals.

I haven't a clue, so am hoping someone can help. I already got some advice on RSCH on the Brighton Local area, but more comments on that are welcome too.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

have you considered a homebirth yet?
I would then book with the unit which is actually closer for you.

The research is very strong stating that you have a much higher chance of a natural birth when planning a homebirth ( even if you do need to transfer for some reason).

wishing you a wonderful pregnancy,

Anja

Have a look in the Brighton Local section- there's quite a lot of info re RSCH and Worthing there
