If over with DC1, how over were you with DC2, 3, 4....

I am due 12th December. Just had a sweep appointment made for 22nd Dec, and "will be induction a few days later if not" - which will be Christmas.
On the assumption that second babies are quicker - are they earlier?
I was 40+6 with DC1, and just want to see if I can get any hope up of having DC2 home for Christmas?
(Or maybe I could request an ealier sweep?)

Blimey you're organised . Anyway, I was induced at 42weeks with DS1 and went naturally with DS2 at 41+5 so a bit earlier but still horribly overdue. I had had 2 sweeps by then - one the day after my due date & one at 41 weeks - I would definitely request a sweep earlier.

DC1 8 days' overdue
DC2 bang on time
DC3 induced at 40+1 as no sign of her coming out and she needed to be out.

So, both earlier and (potentially) later - I don't suppose that's rally helpful...

both arrived 11 days late, both induced

DS1 6 days late
DS2 3 days early.

So there is hope

I was induced at 11 days with ds1 and was absoluely convinced that dd would be late bu she was 5 days early and ds2 was 3 days early

DD 10 days late

DS very prompt and arrived on his due date (just!!!)

dd1 was 11 days late
dd2 was 8 days late
dd3 was 3 days late
ds was 10 days late

DC1 - 14 days overdue
DC2 - 10 days overdue
DC3 - 10 days overdue
DC4 - 7 days overdue

DD1 - 15 days late (due to be induced but started off naturally same day).

DD2 - 13 days late (induction should have been Christmas Eve but they moved it to the 22nd because I asked), she was born the 23rd.

DC1-15 days
DC2- 1 day
DC3-10 days

Looks like there is hope... But I gues it'll come when ready!
