Hi Ladies,

I am currently 34+6 with dc4 and for the last 3 days or so i have been having alot of mucusy discharge. (I know its early but dc3 was an early arrival at 36 weks so have been kind of expecting this bambino to make an early apperance too!) There is absolutely loads of it though, and it is green doesnt smell though and no irritation but not sure whether to speak to someone at the hospital or not? Had some very painful ctx last night every 3-4 mins for about 3 hours and then they tailed off, during this time there was also alot more mucus but some of this was tinged with blood.

What i guess i am trying to ask in a very roundabout way is, given bubs is still preterm and the greenness, should i call anyone or is this normal and i'm being a nutter?!?!

Hi there

I'm not an expert but it doesn't sound entirely normal.....

I think you should absolutely call the midwives/hospital. Just to put your mind at rest if nothing else. Today?

All the best!
