For those with GD - what did you use for snacks in labour?

I'm just wondering as DD was a very long labour (36 hours) and although I expect this one to be a bit faster I have been diagnosed with GD and I'm not really sure what to eat during early labour and anything to eat/snack on during the later stages?

With DD I ended up being force fed starbursts and 7-up as my sugars (and energy!) were low.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Digestive biscuits are good and easy to nibble on. Toast might be another option. Might find ice lollies or Italian Ices helpful too...if where you are giving birth will have a freezer available for you to use. They are good for hydration as well.
