Sex after a c-section?

When is it ok to go ahead? It's only been 2 weeks since my baby arrived, 6th baby but never had a section before and I have no idea when it'll be ok.

Just thought I'd ask

Thought it was around 8 weeks.

i was told 4 weeks both times (em cs and planned cs). So 4 weeks it was, but very carefully.

I know someone who went camping and had sex 2 weeks after a cs .

i don;t think the rules are any different for sex post c.s as VB as long as you feel ok and USE CONTRACEPTION

4 weeks for us. Please use contraception. Ds2 was born a year after ds1.

I wasn't given any different advice from after a vaginal birth. (Which was 'As soon as you like.') It took longer after the section before I felt up to it though.
