What sort of pain? How long after CS? I find it painful as well, but then again have only had sex twice since DD was born (she's 3 now )

SalBySea · 08/06/2009 23:18

7 weeks

its as if its my first time, EVER! as if I have regrown a hymen or something

tried twice, second time had to stop him before he was even all the way in!

Hmm, that's not the same as me...for me it's painful 'inside', as if something's being banged or bruised, and then achy afterwards. I'm sorry - no advice. Perhaps you're not relaxed enough or something? I hope someone else can help you

Best of luck!

SalBySea · 08/06/2009 23:25

yeah I thought about that, but I had no reason to NOT be relaxed - I couldnt wait to get back to it (waited till 6 week check - attempt 1 was about 4 hours after it!) and didnt think for a second that it wouldnt be 'normal' as I hadnt had a vaginal birth

maybe hormone changes making things drier? or could you have mild thrush - did you have ab's after the c section?

SalBySea · 08/06/2009 23:39

used tonnes of lube

know what thrush pain feels like that and its not that - it feels like there's damage or tearing IYKWIM

anyone else had damage from vaginal examinations during a labour that ended in a CS?

I had the same.
I even went back to the hospital and had a full examination.

There were no problems at all, just use plenty of lube & take your time, don't rush things.
