dc2 is due today - but i was induced last time so feel like a bit of a novice at this sponteanous labour malarky.

both this time and last time i have had a really nasty half hour of gut clearing during which i had some full on pains that felt like what i would assume contractions are - really painful sicky stomach spasms,

this time since 34 weeks or so i have also had a lot of brief shooting pains at top of my thighs or - less frequently - top of fanny. these pains always been on whatever side baby has been on and recently have been longer, more painful and more frequent. they come when i have been active (and god knows i have spent the last three weeks trying to walk this baby out) - what are these? could they be a type of contraction?

I have had these pains on both pgs the mw said it was baby engaging. But I have had them at 33 weeks this time. Sorry I couldn't help more.
