Has anyone had experience with Dr. Roger Marwood or Dr. Makrina (Mina) Savvidou? I have bokked appointments with them and would very much appreciate any input on posotives or negatives... Looking forward to hear from anyone!
I have tried to get appointments with a few others, but they are all fully booked...

Sorry I saw others - but bumping for you.
Incidentally, a friend has Mr Marwood as her Gynae and says he's great. Another lady on here had him I recall so hopefully she may see this... not heard of the other lady, is she new? Good luck, you've chosen a nice place to have your baby!

Tks picklesmama! I think the lady is new there. I have now also a chance to see Dr. Keith Duncan, do you know him? Can anyone comment please?

He was mine and highly recommend! Big bonus is that he does all your scans too so you will only see him throughout your pregnancy and delivery. he also lives very close to the hospital which is a bonus if you have quick labours!

Is Dr Duncan easy to reach/ available when you need advice? It was very difficult to get a date for this appointment, so I think he must be terribly busy...

I have to confess I was probably the most straightforward patient ever. The once I called him with a question, he called back within 5 minutes but I was on the phone. He left a message saying he'd try again in 45 minutes as he was about to do someone's section, and he did. I think he's great - very into personal choice and all that.
I just booked him straight away when barely 4 wks pregnant as I saw him briefly with my first baby (when I was midwife-led). So my first appointment with him was at 8 wks for an early scan.
I'm sure all the consultants will look after you very well!

PS if you do a mumsnet search for Keith Duncan you will find quite a few threads I think. Haven't read a bad thing yet!

Hello, I'm under the care of Mina Savvidou. She has been great so far but I am only 20 weeks pregnant. The other more well known were fully booked and she has just started taking on private patients.
