labour or trapped wind ???

I've been having sharp pains coming & going all night not lasting too long, but fairly frequently at times. Feels like trapped wind, in fact have managed to emit some wind. does that mean it can't be labour?

Is it wishful thinking that I could be in labour.

Are you timing the pains? Have they got any worse? Looking at the time you posted you posted you could have had a baby by now!

I am in early labour (now confirmed by MW) and have been suffering just this sensation!
