I would love to hear all your thoughts on these two hospitals as I'm supposed to let my GP know tomorrow where I'd like to have my baby! I am only 6½ weeks pregnant and it feels way too soon to be making such a big decision! I've gone through the forums, checked out loads of websites, done the virtual tours and still can't decide. Please share your experiences and opinions!

sorry frivolous comment coming up ....but..there is a very flashy baby clothes and gift shop opposite C&W so if you think you will get lots of visitors who are likely to be armed with last minute gifts its v. handy, and they can bring you some good coffee from the Carluccio's opposite (probably not if you are breast feeding though)
good luck

DD1 born at C&W. Never saw the same midwife twice and postnatal lack of care was appalling.

DD2 born at Kingston, really can't praise it highly enough.

Congrats. Please choose Kingston.

Thanks for your comments!
Glucose, I don't think I want anyone visiting me in hospital, though still hopeful for flashy gifts! Funny, I've read lots of great reviews about shops and eateries near C&W!
PuzzleRocks - So good to hear such a positive recommendation! I have been leaning towards Kingston but have been swaying...! Apparently the midwives come to my local GP's surgery which I'm hoping means there's more chance of continuous care with the same midwife. Also it looks like parking at Kingston is easier and it's not in the congestion zone (although this seems the wrong thing thing for basing my decision on - ahead of cleanliness, good care, low infectious disease ratings, etc.!).
