UCH vs HOMERTON

Hi everyone,

I have just found out I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby and am over the moon. It means I will be due at the end of December.

The Dr told me I need to decide which hospital to go to so I can book in my first appointments. I live in Stoke Newintgon, so the nearest hospitals are Homerton or UCH- does anyone have any advice on this?

I hear that can both be good but last post natal care.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Congratulations!! I had both my babies at the Homerton (I was also living in Stokie at the time) and would definitely recommend it. Lovely midwives! If you do decide to go there, I would also recommend that you go to the antenatal classes, even if you are also doing NCT, as they do a tour of the birth suites etc which I found very helpful.

Thank you, that is reassuring to hear
