Is this my show?

I should know this as it's my second but it's different to last time.

Sorry TMI but I've had three large lumps of mucus, not the usual kind, proper jelly like and bigger than anything I've seen before! About the size of a golf ball.

The thing is it's just clear/beige in colour and no blood streaks or brown in it. So, is it my show or just a rather full on case of discharge?!

I'm 40±5 and having really mild period pains for the past few days so I guess things will be happening sooner rather than later anyway.

I didn't go overdue last time and the waiting is doing my head in - I really hope this is my show?

No idea, but fingers crossed for you. Good luck!

Often the show is more likely to be blood stained but everyone is different. You may get a slight blood stained bit later. As long as the muscus is not unpleasent smelling then just carry on as normal.

Good Luck hope it is not too much longer for you

I had a show like you've described and not blood stained the day before I went into labour with DS2. Obviously everyone's different but fingers crossed, this might be a good sign!

Well, I went to the hospital today and had a sweep and I'm 2cm dilated already so something is happening!

I can't believe I've got to that without any real pain. Last time it took three days to get to 3cm with painful contractions every 5-10 minutes.

I'm elated!!

how exciting!
the show you described sounds similar to mine - no blood really just some very slight brownish.
hopefully as its your second things will move along quicker than before.
eeek good luck!
