Lindo wng, Charles Wright?

Helllo everyone,

Does anyone know about Charles Wright at Lindo? I have booked with whim but can't see any comments about him so panicking a bit. aby help woul be hugely appreciated!

I used to work with an obstetrician called Charles Wright - I assume its the same one? he had beds at Portland as well if it is. He's lovely to his private patients, very experienced in obs/gynae and an older gentleman

I am sooooo very glad to see this post! I am booked with Mr Wright myself for the end of july God willing. I am travelling from Pakistan for my delivery. Initially i was very apprehensive as i called practically everyone on the Lindo Wing list and he seemed to be the only one available..i actually ended up talking to him myself on the phone and he seemed nice enough.

But when I mentioned him to my gynaecologist here, he did'nt even think a second before saying go for him. He knew them all and said he's very experienced and if i need a c-section (which i might) then to go for him 110% !

So thats basically how i made up my mind,,,tho still a bit apprehensive as not much mention of him here.

Ouchitreally hurts...this is my first pregnancy and an ivf one at that too...any more you can tell me about him? He does practise at the portland too.

I dont' know what else to add really - he is a gentlemanly, professional and very experienced consultant. I worked with him in an NHS setting and he had all the time in the world for his gynae/obs ladies and liked the staff to make sure things were 100% right (was actually a bit scared of him as a junior staff nurse !!) he was the only consultant to call me 'Sister' when the others used my first name so that gives you an idea of how professional he is.

I don't recall any incidents or complaints about him. I've seen him with private obstetric patients and he is brilliant.the fact that your dr over there has said what he has speaks volumes IMO!!
