hi folks
At my 40 week check up last week, my baby's heart rate was between 100 and 110 bpm. Previously it has sounded faster but I don't know the exact rate. It was monitored for about half an hour and was between 120 and 140 but by then I was anxious. I have checked it a couple of times a day with a doppler in the week since then and it has always been around 110. Tomorrow I see the midwife for the 41 week check and think I will ask for a scan. Any other important questions I should be thinking about?

I would ask about induction and what they intend to do to get you going, i can't see that they should be letting you go too far overdue.

I have heard that heartbeats can slow down the bigger they get because of the lack of space to move around they tend to be a little 'lazier' if that makes sense.

I would also ask about any other changes such as fluid levels on the scan, is there still as much, does the cord look healthy and placenta look healthy with good blood flow.

Good luck xx

Are the movements okay?

Yes, good movements. It just seemed that last time they were more interested in being reassuring than actually explaining why the baby's heart was beating slowly.
