Has anyone used a TENS for pain relief after C section?

Morning ladies. 31 weeks pregnant with twins and weighing up all options on delivery front. With DD1 had no pain relief/intervention - not a martyr to natural childbirth, hospital wouldn't let me in until it was too late to give me anything . Fingers crossed this time they will (LOL). Anyway, came across a suggestion in an American twins book to use TENS post C.section to avoid anaesthetics crossing over placenta etc and making it easier for babies to feed. Hadn't thought of this and was wondering if anyone had used a TENS for this or even if it's advocated or not in this country?
