for the Boots Maternity Tens machine (SAP 10049456). A friend lent it to me, but has lost the instructions. So if anyone has got one I was wondering if I could get a copy of the instructions or something. Thanks a lot.

I have no instruction book, but this Mums' review tells you how to work it.

Thanks ShyTalk. I googled the instructions, but nothing came up and have got in touch with Boots, but no answer yet. I'm nearly 36 weeks now, so really want to start practicing with it

I've got the same one - mine is in a cupboard in DS's room and he's asleep so I can't get it right now, but from memory it has an instruction booklet and video.

I'll keep checking this thread and if no one's posted the instructions before tomorrow night, I'll type them out. Have used it during 2 labours and can't remember how to work it.

Thanks for that LYM. That would be really helpful. Shytalk's link has some of the instructions, but it's also talking about using it for relieving pack pain and it's a bit confusing TBH. All I want is the labour bit.

OK, have found the tens machine and instructions. There are about 6 pages for basic set up and labour modes including lots of diagrams and symbols that I couldn't reproduce here. Funnily enough, the review linked to by ShyTalk actually contains a pretty good summary of how it works, but obviously you need the full instructions.

So, the best thing is probably for me to lend you the booklet via the post. Can you CAT me your postal address? Then I'll drop it in the post plus an SAE so you can post it back without too much hassle.

Lastyearsmodel. I'd love to CAT you, but I've completely forgotten how to do it. I did set it up a few years ago. Can you remind me how I go about it. Thanks for lending me the booklet btw, I might just copy it and send it straight back to you so I don't lose it.

Hello,
That took a bit of finding! At the bottom of each page under 'Membership' is a link to the Contact a Mumsnetter page.

Hi Lastyearsmodel,
I've finally managed to CAT you. I hope it works. Thank you so very much for your letting me borrow your instructions
