OK this is my 4th and I should know better but, should I phone the hospital?

Hiya woke up this morning and had pink discharge, has been going on all day and is now mucus tinged with fresh blood, coupled with period cramps that are completely irregular.
I know this is probably just my plug coming away but my question is do I need to call the hospital because the blood is fresh?
I am 39+3
Sorry if I seem so clueless with my other 3 the 1st sign of things was my waters going whoosh so this has bemused me a little

It was with my 4th one I had found it the hardest to decide weather i was in labour or not as well!

I would call the hospitall and tell them I am comming! I waited and waited with DD4 and she just let me time to get into hospitat and take my trousers off. She was born just 10 mn after a set a foot in the ward I was amazed that I had not even had time to put my walman on!

Lol I hope it goes quickly, just don't want to get my hopes up, childcare sorted then get sent home to wait a week! !

Sounds like the typical plug to me. Is the baby still moving ok? Head engaged?

Let us know How it goes anyway1 Oh and you do not need to do so within hours of having given birth BTW!!!! we can wait for a couple of days at least!!!

Nah, it's her 4th! She can be pushing whilst giving us updates!

It does sound like a show but be alert- I had 35 minute labour with ds4!. Only one Mw managed to get here.

So whilst I wouldn't call immediately, if you get any more indications it might be worth it.

Hi all, have phoned just to keep an eye and phone as things progress! pains have developed into real contractions but not really painful and still pretty irregular so going to go for a sleep and hope things get properly going in the morning

Nothing happening , pains stopped when I went to bed, although still losing alot of the horrible bloody mucus! Going to do a lot of walking today and try and sped this baby up a bit!

Have you called the hospital? I do not remember loosing a big quantity of mucus for any of my children maybe you should get it checked even if labour has not actually started?

Walking a lot did definitely work fo me to speed the process.

yeah i phoned again today its ok according to the midwife just to keep checking in with them every wee while

how are you feeling? is it a "it's for today" feeling?

nope don't feel much different from yesterday, it's hard because the last times my waters have broken and thats that .This is doing my head in been walking all ex and going to eat something hot tonight! x

OOHHH I missed your last update! Waters have brocken? should not be that long now. Did you have a vindaloo( I cannot think about a worst name for any food!) Will be thinking of you! All the best!
