Can anyone recommend a doula for homebirth in SE London?

As above...

I'm planning to work my way down the list on the doula.org.uk website, but if there were any recommendations, I'd like to know!

I'm aiming for a drugs-free, intervention-free homebirth (SE10) with my first baby but since I'm under consultant-led care (heart condition) and I've had several unrelated bleeding episodes already this pregnancy, I'm aware that for mine and the baby's sake this may change at the last minute. Consultant and midwife all happy to support homebirth, with this warning.

So - I want someone who'll help me avoid drugs & intervention as far as possible, but who'll also be non-judgemental if my heart condition kicks in (it'll almost certainly be emergency c-section). Last thing I need if I'm heading for a cardiac seizure (which I'll get warning of!) is someone telling me I'm a failure...

am not very good at geogorapyh but know two fantastic London doulas, not sure if theyu are in your area... their intials are ML and CP. they both post on here as lovelymarslady and hertsnessex, i can contact on your behalf or alert them to this thread.

Thanks Lulumama, but neither of them are near me . I did check both of them out, but they're both a couple of hours' drive, more in rush hour (esp. if the Blackwall Tunnel's blocked again!).

SunshineDoula, I'm about to email you...

Bit further (gatwick way) but good train links - Lisa Miles at abracadoula. She was excellent for me.
