Am I in labour? Should I ring the hospital?!

Hi ladies!! I am a first timer and therefore dont even know if what I am experiencing is contractions!

I am having pains in my lower abdomen...like period pains I suppose...but they are bringing a tear to my eye and I stop me in my tracks and I have to breathe through them. Over the last hour and half they have been 6/7 mins apart but not getting any closer as far as I can tell.

What should I do?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If in doubt, ring the labour ward. They are there to reassure you. Hope your bag is packed and there is someone with you - and good luck!

Yes, ring, they'll advise you. Good luck and come back and post
