Is a mucas plug and/or show the same thing? I had something like this going on today. 1st time at 40 weeks.. smile

Yes they are both the same thing, it normally looks like snot tinged with blood (brown or red) although i lost part of my plug at 35 weeks and it had a greeny/yellow shade to it.

Twocutedarlings. Was the green colour really quite bright?

Am 37wks and had small amount of green tinged "snot" on saturday morning. Nothing since. Thought I'd been a bit too forceful with the lime showergel but maybe not!

My waters broke a couple of hours after I had a show and agree it looked like snot with blood in it which was nice !

no Gyo it wasnt really bright green as such, more of yellowy green IYKWIM, but it defo looked like snot LOL .

it was difficult to say, as mainly down the loo, but was yellow snot with blood in it. fingers crossed as im over being a waddling whale, especially since I live in france, and all the french pregnant women look so small and petite.

judging by this thread I lost part of my plug this morning then, it was definitely snotty but not blood or brownish.

May I ask, exactly how much snotty stuff are we talking here? if it is nt too hard to quantify!
