Piles!!!

I am 36weeks and have just developed piles as a result of a stomach upset. I have been lucky enough to avoid them until now. It is v painful and there has been a bit of bleeding. I have been using Germaliods and some cream i had pescribed by the doctor a while ago when i had them. Anyone got any tips on how to treat them. I guess the chances of them clearing up until after the birth are pretty slim. I am having an elective c section thankfully as goodness knows what they would be like after a natural birth!!!
I did mention it to the midwife who just said that they are v common, do I really need to see a doctor?

Sorry you are going through this. I had it, went to the docs and had to show her my bum!! she gave me anusol the pellet ones you put up yourself and it did help

The anusol cream always worked for me , i got them in my last two pgs and they went after i had given birth both times.

Dabbing witch hazel on helps too - that is the main ingredient in piles creams anyway. Keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cool.
