I just need to check...has anyone sneaked through at the Carmen Suite (St. George's)

With a VBAC? I know that it DOES NOT HAPPEN...but sometimes there are exceptions to the rule. Would very much like to hear from anyone who VBACed at St.George's either at the Carmen or was treated like they were there.

Hi Turtle - not the same thing, but thought would mention just in case it was useful to you - I'm at St G too. Had to see the consultants a couple of times/extra scans because epilepsy in childhood and then baby wrong way up. But eventually all sorted and signed off (yay!). I made sure that I asked the consultant whether I would be allowed in Carmen Suite given my history and she got the midwife to check - they said okay - so it's all written up in my notes. Of course, since then I've decided that Carmen Suite probably isn't for me - d'oh! But it's reassuring to know that it's all documented in my notes just in case, so nobody will give me hassle when I turn up on d-day if I change my mind (again).
