Just a warning really, my friend had her C/S cancelled today until next week, as she has been vomiting all night from a nasty stomach bug picked up there, at her check up on Monday. Apparently they have had to close 5 wards due to the bug.

Wanted to warn any preggies who might be heading in to avoid if poss.

Tbh - it's winter and the community at large is rife with vomiting bugs. It's very, very unlikely that you would be able to ascribe catching something to a hospital visit arther than any other location!.

What a horrid thing for your friend though - hope she has a good birth next week!

I know, she's gutted!

It was the hospital that actually made the connection, when she rang to say she was too weak for the op. She'd only been in the day before so they said the timing added up...

Eithter way I'm counting my stars that I saw her before she went and am ok as I'm nearly 37 weeks myself! (selfish! )
