Rasberry leaf tea for Elec C/S - any benefits?

I am having a C/S in three weeks. I'll be drinking Fennel Tea to help with milk production for breastfeeding, and therefore haven't taken any Rasberry Leaf.

From what I know it helps with the milk too, but mainly took it last time for strengthening uterine contractions and toning the cervix etc for labour.

Anyway, just occured to me that there may be benefits for C/S mums too, perhaps to help shrink the uterus after birth etc?

Any of you good ladies know please? Hope my question is clear enough!

Seem to remember that raspberry leaf is also in those teas you can get online for increasing milk production. Anyway, a toned uterus can't hurt can it?

I took Raspberry Leaf Capsules last time. The herbalist that I got them from recommended taking them after the birth for a couple of weeks too, to help the uterus contract back down. I would have thought that would apply to someone having a cs too.
