This is only my own experience but I had a 3rd degree tear, that healed ok but I had an anal fissure that gave me pain and trauma for 3 months after. It was really getting me down but I was too embarrassed to go to the doctor. I confided in my mum and she bought me some vitamin e tablets. After a month of taking them my bottom is now back to normal! I was taking lactulose, fybogel etc but it wasn't helping. Give it a try, I credit it completely.

my advice is to get some of this and stay away from sex for as long as possible (well six weeks anyway)

took ages to heal after ds1 who was a little 7lber and had sex too quickly

used the stuff above after having a nearly 11lb whopper and waited six weeks and everything was fine afterwards.

getting ready for dc3 and i'm stocking up
