Pains Way Down Below - Start of Labour?

This is actually my second baby but I can't tell if I'm in labour as it feels different from last time. I had my second sweep yesterday (I'm 40 + 11 days) and did the business this morning! Since then I've been bleeding a little and have been getting some real pains 'down below' - feels sort of like being split in half. My tummy or back don't hurt. Could this be the start?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'd say so!

Have you had your baby yet?

Pains were indeed labour pains - baby George was born 1 hour after we arrived at the hospital weighing 7 lb 11 oz - he's gorgeous!
