Possible inducement at 34-36 weels after a previous C-section - anybody been induced for a VBAC?

I think my waters may be going at only 32 weeks. The hospital will try to keep me going with drugs until ideally 36 weeks before delivery. I was surprised when another woman I met on the ward said they wanted to induce her at 36 weeks despite it being a VBAC. I understand the risk of rupture doubles and the chances of a successful inducement at 34-36 weeks must be slim. If my waters have gone I was going to insist on another c-section, I think it would be safer for the baby rather than being induced. Also I don't fancy 3 days of inducement followed by an EMCS then going home with a prem baby and a toddler.

it depends very much on your consultant, and how conservative they are.. some will not use the hormone drip, or only use it at a v v low level, some only advise pessaries. it really depends. if you are not ripe for induction at 36 weeks, it might be better to have a planned c.s, but you just don;t know how your body will respond to induction, but you do have to be careful how much your uterus is stimulated. i presume you are under consultant care anyway due to previous c.s and now with your waters going

if you prefer a c,s, i am fairly confident that in your situation, you would not be refused a planned c.s
