Induction using a 'balloon'...anyone had it??

I am due to be induced on Monday. As I had a section last time, the consultant will not use the gel to start labour, but plans to insert a balloon to dilate the cervix.
Feeling a bit anxious about being induced anyway, but from what he said, this is quite a new method. Has anyone else had it?? What is it like??
Please help!!

Haven't had it but have also had prior cs and consultant said it could be an option. I read about a study (can't remember where though) that says it has a much lower risk of uterine rupture than gel/drip etc, so that's why it's an option for vbac.

Ooops - if you are still out there - I too have been offered the balloon method as an option and just wondering how you got on?
